The Horseman
Hi, I’m Aamer Mazouz, a 26-year-old horse trainer based in Austria and France with a deep passion for the art of horsemanship. Born and raised in Morocco, I grew up surrounded by the beauty and power of the Barb horses. My journey began with training my own horses at home, which sparked a lifelong dedication to understanding and refining the bond between horse and rider.
My expertise lies in horsemanship, liberty dressage, and the gentle, trust-based training of young horses, with a strong focus on fostering true communication between humans and horses. I’m also deeply inspired by the elegance of classical French dressage and the techniques of Spanish and Portuguese horsemanship.
Over the years, I’ve drawn inspiration from legendary horsemen such as Philipe Karl, Nuno Oliveira, Pat Parelli, and François Robichon de La Guérinière. Their philosophies have shaped my approach, blending tradition with a modern perspective on training and connection.
I also had the privilege of refining my skills at the Académie des Arts Équestres de Marrakech, where I immersed myself in the art and discipline of equestrianism.
My goal is to share my knowledge and passion to inspire others in their equestrian journeys and to help riders and their horses build harmonious relationships rooted in respect, trust, and mutual understanding.
